After a 10-year stint as a software engineer, Colleen Miniuk fled the grey cubicle walls to pursue a more colorful, meaningful life as a full-time photographer, author, publisher, instructor, speaker, stand-up paddleboarder, and water lover. In 2019, she paddled or rowed six rivers: Colorado, Yampa, Green (twice), Arkansas, Chama, and Snake. She resides in Chandler, AZ, on the ancestral homeland of the Hohokam, near the Consolidated Canal which distributes water from the Salt River to her home and the metro Phoenix area.
